Casablanca Black & White Bolster Cushion

Casablanca is a block printed bolster cushion, 56cm long and 15cm in diameter. Black stripes are hand printed with water-based paints onto off white 100% European linen. Finished with a black invisible zip and black coloured piping to frame the circular edges. 

A unique collaboration between Nic Brittin x Fibre Lab. A testament to the duo’s shared commitment to redefining sustainable luxury, transforming recycled materials while preserving the beautiful traditional craft of block printing.

A plush and weighty cushion inner made with 100% recycled and regenerative materials. The outer lining of the cushion is constructed using a regenerative wool wadding, layered between two pieces of cotton. This casing is stuffed with raw recycled fibre and sewn closed for use as a luxury cushion insert. 

All cushions are lovingly sewn by Studio AK Threads and Fabricworks. Studio AK provide sustainable fashion and textiles production and Fabricworks are a women lead social enterprise providing employment and training opportunities in textile manufacturing for women in East London who have previously faced multiple barriers to employment.
